Vertical Mill
LM vertical roller mill is an energy-saving mill equipment that combines mature vertical grinding technology, successful foreign experience and the company's technological innovation and upgrading. It integrates crushing, drying, grinding, grading, and conveying, and can be widely used in cement, electric power, metallurgy, chemical, non-metallic ores and other industries, and focuses on three major fields of non-metallic ores, pulverized coal and slag.
Work Principle
1)The motor dives the grinding table to turn through the speed reducer. At the same time, hot air comes into the roller mill from the air inlet. The materials fall down the centre of grinding table from the feeder.
2)Because of the centrifugal force, the materials move to the edge of grinding table from the centre.
3)The materials are crushed by the grinding roller when they passes the groove on the grinding table. The crusher materials continue to move to the edge of the grinding table until they are taken away by the airstream. The fine powder comes out with the airstream, and is gathered by the dust catcher of the system. The powder gathered is the final product of roller mill.
4)In the process of the contact of airstream , the materials are dried to meet the clients' need at the proper moisture. Through the adjustment of the angle between the separator and the leaf of wind's direction (not suitable to the small type of vertical mill), and also the speed of the separator rotor, it can reach the proper fineness of the materials.
Features
1. Low Investment Cost.
This mill itself can crush, dry, grinding, classifying, so the system is simple, and occupation area is about 50% of ball mill system. In addition, it can be installed outside, so it will reduce a large number of investment costs.
2. Low Operation Cost.
(1)High efficiency: roller compacted materials directly onto the grinding disc, so power consumption is low. Compared with ball mill, it saves energy consumption by 30% ~40%. (2)Less wear and tear: As the roller is not in direct contact with the disc, and material of the roller and liner is high quality, so lifetime is long.
3. The stability of product quality.
As the material stays in the mill for a short time, it is easy to detect and control the product particle size and chemical composition, to reduce duplication of milling, stable product quality.
4. Environmental protection.
It was with small vibration, low noise, and the overall sealing. The system works under negative pressure, so there is no dust going out. It meets the requirements of the state Environmental Protection.
Application materials
Vertical grinding mills are widely used in grinding non-flammable and non-explosive materials under 9.3(the Moth's hardness), such as grinding quartz, feldspar, calcite, talcum, barite, fluorite, iron ore, copper ore quartz, slag, cement clinker, zircon sand, fly ash and carborundum, coal, etc.
