Vertical Mill
The LM Series Vertical Roller Mill is a cutting-edge energy-saving grinding machine that ingeniously combines well-established vertical grinding technology with successful global experiences and our own innovative technological advancements. This versatile system skillfully integrates the processes of crushing, drying, grinding, grading, and conveying, making it exceptionally adaptable for use across a broad spectrum of industries, including cement, electric power, metallurgy, chemical, and non-metallic ores. Its primary focus is on the key areas of non-metallic ores, pulverized coal, and slag, delivering unparalleled performance and reliability.
Work Principle
1) Driven by the motor, the grinding table rotates through a speed reducer, while concurrently, hot air is introduced into the roller mill through an air inlet. Materials are fed to descend centrally onto the grinding table, creating an optimal grinding environment.
2) The centrifugal force propels the materials outward from the center towards the edge of the grinding table, ensuring thorough processing.
3) As the materials traverse the groove on the grinding table, they are expertly crushed by the grinding roller. Once crushed, they continue to migrate to the table's edge until carried away by airstreams. The fine powder, swept along with the airstream, is efficiently collected by the system's dust catcher, forming the final refined product of the roller mill.
4) During interaction with the airstream, materials are dried to the client's precise moisture specifications. By adjusting the separator's angle and rotor speed (excluding small vertical mill types), the desired material fineness is achieved effortlessly.

With an occupation area accounting for merely 50% of a conventional ball mill, it dramatically cuts down on space requirements and investment costs. 2. Low Operation Cost.
(1) High efficiency: Due to roller compaction directly onto the grinding disc, power consumption is minimized, achieving energy savings of 30% to 40% over traditional ball mills. (2) Reduced wear and tear: With no direct contact between the roller and the disc, and crafted from high-quality materials, both roller and liner boast extended lifespans.
3. The stability of product quality.
Materials spend minimal time in the mill, enabling easy detection and precise control of product particle size and chemical composition. This reduces redundant milling, ensuring consistently stable and high-quality products.
4. Environmental protection.
Featuring minimal vibration and low noise, combined with comprehensive sealing, the system operates under negative pressure, preventing any dust escape. It fully complies with governmental environmental protection standards.
Application materials
Our vertical grinding mills excel at processing a plethora of non-flammable and non-explosive materials up to 9.3 on the Mohs scale of hardness. They are highly efficient for grinding quartz, feldspar, calcite, talcum, barite, fluorite, iron ore, copper ore, quartz, slag, cement clinker, zircon sand, fly ash, and carborundum, as well as coal, to perfection.
